Summer Sundown

Our late openings return on Friday 11th August with our Summer Sundown event!



For just £5 (free for Annual Pass holders*), visit far flung countries of Africa and see some of our most iconic animals including our recently arrived giraffe. Plus, see our okapi, lemurs, cheetah and gelada as well as discovering amazing facts about some of these incredible animals at the animal talks.

Feel the African rhythm with live entertainment at intervals throughout the evening and try your hand at our giraffe activities, suitable for the whole family. You can also grab a bite to eat at our BBQ and at the Courtyard Café.

Leap of Faith will also be open throughout the evening. Take on the high adventure course combining climbing activities, the 3G Power Swing and if you're brave enough the Leap of Faith jump!**

Summer Sundown runs from 6.00pm - 9.00pm (last entry at 8.00pm).

* Annual Pass holders and Dual Members must still book a ticket and present their membership card at entrance. Please note that if Annual Pass/Dual Member(s) do not reserve their free ticket(s) in advance then standard ticket costs may apply or entry prohibited.

Useful Information 

  • Please note that this is a predominantly outdoor event, so please dress appropriately.  The Summer Sundown events will still go ahead in wet weather conditions.  
  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • We recommend that guests who are registered disabled visit our Guest Information Point to see how we can maximise your visit.

Terms and conditions 

  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be changed for any other tickets.
  • Wild Place Project will not accept responsibility for any lost or damaged tickets. 
  • Wild Place Project reserves the right to cancel or amend the Summer Sundown events and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual anticipated breach of any applicable law or any other event outside of its control.  Any changes to the Summer Sundown events will be notified to guests as soon as possible. 
  • Wild Place Projects decision in respect of all matters to do with the Summer Sundown events will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  • The Summer Sundown events and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England]. 
  • Purchase of a ticket will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
All funds raised from this event will go towards Wild Place Project's charitable objectives.
